Fluffahog

Beasts covered from head to toe in spikes save for their soft bellies.

The Fluffahog is a gentle soul that enjoys sleeping. Indeed, they are skilled at making hidden nests using plants and leaves, so that they can have sweet dreams even in the winter cold. If their nests are discovered, they will curl into a ball, presenting their wall of tough spikes to the world, as though meaning to repel all threats this way.

In Snezhnayan folk stories, the Fluffahog is the smartest amongst animals, knowing formulae for wondrous herbal remedies, comprehending the secrets to stemming the tides of weakening age, even knowing how to open a lock that has no key.
